Committee for Ballarat have recently launched their podcast Thought Leaders Future Shapers and I was honoured to be invited to speak with Michael Poulton, CEO of Committee for Ballarat. The podcast shares the stories of leadership and innovative thinking from local Ballarat people. We talked all things leadership, community, the future of Ballarat and a bit about the journey of Inspire HQ and my approach to working with our clients to build great workplaces.

I’m particularly passionate about the work Committee for Ballarat do and if you are not familiar with their work or would like to learn more about what they do you can check them out via the below link. As a born and bred Ballarat local, I’ve seen lots of change and growth over the years and I’m excited about the forecasted population growth and what this means particularly for jobs, careers and business in Ballarat.

Committee for Ballarat work across all three tiers of government and their message is clear – Ballarat and the region is a dynamic regional centre that provides attractive lifestyle opportunities, sound connectivity, strong employment and investment prospects and has a strong focus on innovation and sustainability. Ballarat region’s population is currently around 170,000 and this is projected to increase to approx. 260,000 by 2056. In the face of Ballarat’s growing population, Committee for Ballarat aim to ensure liveability and prosperity are enhanced.*
