Delecca’s is a family owned and operated business with a strong reputation for quality and customer service. Established in 1977 in Bendigo and originally known as Bobcat of Bendigo, the business has grown and expanded rapidly. Services now include new and used machinery and attachment sales, spare parts, hire and workshop service. Due to this continued growth and expansion, on behalf of Delecca’s we are searching for an experienced Sales Representative to join the team and service the Ballarat region.

Currently servicing all over Victoria, Delecca’s products include Bobcats, Skid Steers, Loaders, Excavators, Doosan Excavators, Clark Forklifts and McCormick Tractors and attachments. With an existing client base to grow and service, a large focus of this sales role will be to grow the business across the Ballarat and surrounding region.

In this autonomous role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Implementing sales plans, initiatives and activities to grow the client base
  • Achieving monthly sales targets and maintaining a sales pipeline
  • Identifying and qualifying new market opportunities
  • Regularly calling and visiting customers
  • Building relationships with customers and key industry stakeholders (suppliers, industry groups, relevant organisations)
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge on products, competitor products and general market information
  • Updating the CRM system to maintain accurate customer records

You’ll need to be an experienced Sales Representative with a proven track record in building relationships and growing a client base. Machinery knowledge would be beneficial however it’s not essential as full product training can be provided. To succeed in this role you will have a passion and hunger for working a sales pipeline, be achievement and KPI driven and excel at building long term relationships. Resilience, drive and self-motivation are crucial attributes for ensuring you fit the Delecca’s culture. A well-developed knowledge of marketing and sales management initiatives coupled with exceptional influencing and negotiating skills and strong business acumen will see you thrive in this role.

In return we are offering a competitive salary package including a fully maintained company vehicle and a commission structure with uncapped earning potential. The harder you are prepared to work the greater the reward. You’ll be supported by a Sales Manager, other Sales Representatives and the Delecca’s team. This role does require regular travel to Bendigo and the surrounding Ballarat regions; hence a current unrestricted drivers licence is essential.
