Production Operations Supervisor

Bartlett Manufacturing provides opportunities that challenge and reward their people to grow and develop their skills.  With a commitment to product quality and ingenuity their business continues to grow and as a result they are seeking a Production Operations Supervisor.  This role will involve supporting staff to achieve productivity outputs and assist the Production Manager to ensure efficiency and quality is to the company’s required standards.  Bartlett Manufacturing is searching for a person who is a self driven, dynamic and who can lead, engage, motivate and develop a team.   

As Production Operations Supervisor you will work closely with and support the Production Manager to ensure the production area is operating efficiently and effectively while providing strong leadership skills.  Your key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Being hands on in performing production functions to assist in the manufacture of products.
  • Supporting the Production Manager to ensure manufactured orders are achieved efficiency and to quality standards.
  • Assisting with the supervision of production staff by scheduling tasks, establishing priorities, monitoring progress and resolving problems.
  • Contributes to the review of production systems, process and procedures with a continuous improvement focus.
  • Training, coaching and mentoring team members.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to be a people-person as one of the keys to your success will be your ability to develop excellent relationships across the business especially at the production team member level.  You will demonstrate experience in a similar role within a fast-paced production environment, interpreting technical information and applying it in practice.  Experience in team supervision and the management of people coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must for this role.  A knowledge of operating computer based machinery along with practical mechanical aptitude is required.
