The May 50K

Ange Connor

This year the Inspire HQ team have signed up to take part in The May 50K. I hadn’t heard about this fundraiser until a few days ago, when one of our team suggested we participate to help raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The more I heard about and read up about the initiative, the more I thought it was a great initiative to get our workplace involved in.

What’s The May 50K?

More than 25,600 Australians are living with MS. MS Research Australia’s mission is to leave MS behind us and kiss goodbye to MS. The May 50K is about raising funds for Australian research, targeting prevention, better treatments and cures for MS. The May 50K is about running or walking 50km throughout the month of May. You can take part individually or as a team.

Why not participate!

Join us in helping to raise funds to kiss goodbye to MS.  Sign your workplace up today and start walking or running and raising funds. There are some great resources available at The May 50K – Leave Your Limits Behind website and this is a fundraiser that’s easy to participate in at work and / or in your own time.

Not only will you be helping a great cause, but what better way to put a focus on helping your workplace stay fit and healthy, and promote physical and mental wellbeing.

We are brainstorming some ideas on different ways we can clock up our 50km so you might see us walking to our meetings, taking the long way around the block to get our morning coffee and turning our team meetings into walking meetings.

We’ll be sharing our fundraising efforts across our social media pages so you can keep track of our progress (and keep us accountable).
