As a born and bred Ballarat local, I’ve seen lots of change and growth over the years and I’m excited about the forecasted population growth and what this means particularly for jobs, careers and business in Ballarat.
Committee for Ballarat work across all three tiers of government and their message is clear – Ballarat and the region is a dynamic regional centre that provides attractive lifestyle opportunities, sound connectivity, strong employment and investment prospects and has a strong focus on innovation and sustainability. Ballarat region’s population is currently around 170,000 and this is projected to increase to approx. 260,000 by 2056. In the face of Ballarat’s growing population, Committee for Ballarat aim to ensure liveability and prosperity are enhanced.*
